Seed Funds for Early-Stage Initiatives

The Office of Research is launching a Seed Funding program to facilitate new collaborations, research projects, and creative works. While a primary goal of the seed funds is the submission of a major federal or philanthropic grant application, other measurable outputs might include availability of new research or artistic infrastructure; robust preliminary data; a formal pitch to a publisher; dissemination of policy papers; launch of a podcast; or creative content or design required to stage an exhibition or performance or to produce a film.

The due date for the current call is: Letter of Intent due 11/5/21, Proposal due 12/1/21.
