Summary of Expertise

I graduated from UCSC with a BS in MCD Biology in 2015. After graduation I did research with a Genomics lab for a year. During my time with the lab I worked directly with the PI to write, format, and submit compliant grant proposals to NSF and other agencies. This experience brought me to the Office of Sponsored Projects where I have been working with UCSC PIs in support of their sponsored research since 2016.

Research Interests

Gene capture, genomics, phylogenetics, computational biology.
