Element 6: Oversight of Data Management and Sharing
The Office of Research has developed standardized text that should be used to address Element 6 of the required Data Management and Sharing Plan:
“Day-to-day oversight of data management and sharing will be provided by the PIs, in accordance with [list appropriate lab/s here] guidance and consistent with NIH policy. The Office of Research at the University of California, Santa Cruz, the institution administering the award, will provide additional oversight, monitoring compliance annually. PIs will report on data management and sharing through annual NIH progress reports, per sponsor policy, and the Office of Research will conduct annual audits of data deposits and publications listed in the reports.”
