A Multicampus Research Unit (MRU) is an ORU with facilities and personnel on two or more UC campuses or locations associated with them, or an ORU with facilities at a single location on or near one of the UC campuses where participation of faculty or staff from other UC campuses is extensive.
MRUs are responsible to the UC President and are overseen by UCOP.
