The Proposal Administration (PA) team provides support to principal investigators (PIs) to reduce the administrative burden of the proposal preparation process. The PA team is the primary contact for PIs throughout this process and will work in tandem with our colleagues in the Office of Sponsored Projects (OSP) who will review final proposal packages for compliance and submit them to the sponsor.
What we do
- Review Start a Proposal forms and initiate proposal records in Cayuse
- Provide internal deadlines
- Provide a list of required documents
- Assist with developing budgets
- Assist with budget justifications
- Review sponsor guidelines and provide administrative guidance
- Collect subaward documents (if applicable)
- Provide templates for commonly required support documents
- Assist with formatting and uploading documents into sponsor portals
- Review documents for compliance
