The Office of Research Development (RD) team supports the advancement of the UC Santa Cruz research enterprise through identifying funding opportunities, supporting development of competitive grant proposals, and increasing UC Santa Cruz’s visibility and engagement with funding partners.

Research development specialists work to:
- Promote cross-campus research communications.
- Facilitate inter-campus collaborations.
- Conduct workshops and training on proposal development.
- Share resources to streamline proposal development.
