Identifying the correct funding opportunity for your research project is a critical first step in developing a successful proposal. Contact your research development specialist to set up a meeting to discuss how RD can help. In addition, the following resources are available.

Pivot-RP search tool

Information and instructions for using Pivot-RP

Pivot-RP is a search tool with over 28,000 research funding opportunities and is available to every UC Santa Cruz faculty and staff member.

To get started:

  1. Go to Pivot-RP.
  2. Under “Access Pivot-RP using your Institution’s Credentials (Shibboleth)” select University of California, Santa Cruz to set up an account. 
  3. Once you have an account, you can create automated funding searches and track opportunities.
